Can I cancel an order?

Cancellations

To cancel an order, email us at dorothy@dorothyfagan.com within 24 hours. 

Orders for original artwork may be canceled within 24 hours, if they are not custom commissioned art. Terms of commissioned artwork are specified on commission contract. 

Shipping art

When will my order ship?

Ship times vary depending on the piece you have selected and the time required to prepare your shipment.

Original Paintings

Most small works ship via USPS Priority Mail or Fed EX Ground. When your painting ships, we will email you the shipper's tracking information.

If you have ordered a medium or large sized oil painting, it will ship via FedEX Ground. You can expect it to ship within 7 -14 days. 

Fine Art Prints

If you have ordered a Fine Art Print, you can expect it to ship within 2 weeks. After placing your order, you will receive an email confirming your order. Once your order ships, you will receive another email that includes the shipper's tracking information. Prints ship via UPS.

How will my artwork be packaged?

packagingDorothy Fagan has been crating and shipping her paintings for 40 years. Every original painting and fine art print is inner wrapped and crated in heavy weight corrugated cardboard carton with lots of cushioning.  

This photo shows a framed canvas limited edition in its packaging as it arrives to your home. The same care is given to every original oil painting.

Why is Shipping so Expensive?

I am an independent artist, not Amazon! With that, the original one-of-a-kind artworks we ship must be crated and guaranteed to arrive at your home in perfect condition. I have been shipping art for forty years, with very few lost or damaged pieces. We've learned the best way to get your art delivered!

FEDEX GROUND & FREIGHT

We purchase or construct crates and packaging that will protect your new aquisition during shipment. Our shipping expert is experienced with handling fine art, and how to package it properly. We usually ship via FedEX Ground or FedEX Freight for oversize pieces.

Do you offer white glove delivery & Installation?

WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY & INSTALLATION

If you are on the East Coast, we offer white glove delivery and installation in your home or place of business. This is especially helpful for oversize paintings, multiple artworks, or special needs. Contact us for availability in your area and a quote. 

USPS Smaller artworks (under 16" x 20") may be shipped USPS Priority Mail. 

ORDERING

 I prefer not to place my order online. Is there another way I can order?

Yes. You may also place an order by calling the Virginia studio at 804-366-0990. Our hours are Monday - Friday 10:00 am - 5:00 pm EST, Saturdays 10:00 am - 3:00 pm  EST

Can I place an order from an International address?

Yes, we ship art via UPS or FedEX to any country where they deliver. You will be responsible for any duties or customs charges that your country places on your parcel. 

When is my credit card charged?

Your credit card is charged at the time your order is placed.

Do you offer financing?

YES! You may finance your purchase.

You can take up to 6 months with no interest to pay for your artwork. 

To make payment arrangements, let us know which artwork you wish to purchase and what payment schedule you would like. We will send you an invoice with the terms of your purchase. You can pay online with your credit card or electronic check. It's that simple! Email Dorothy at dorothy@dorothyfagan.com

Workshop Terms & Conditions

Workshop registration sales are final. We do not offer refunds.

You may transfer your workshop to another participant. To transfer your workshop registration to another person, kindly email us your name and the name & email of the person you wish to transfer your reservation to. We will switch your registration to send workshop materials to your friend.
