I've developed my New Earth Healing Palette™ creating life-size paintings and textile art for residential, healthcare, and corporate spaces for healing hearts. The palette creates sanctuary with a harmony of earth and sky colors that are experienced in the body. The palette opens hearts and many people also experience uplifting energy simultaneously.

My work has risen from 26 years of painting with chakra colors. Located in Virginia, I feel an emotional connection with the landscape surrounding my studio by the pond, and the larger ecosystem of the Chesapeake Bay Watershed flowing through my pond to the Atlantic.

Alchemizing emotion with color and willow charcoal, I paint life-size paintings with a trowel-size palette knife and branches of willow tree, drawn through impasto paint. This process harkens to prehistoric cave paintings I experienced in Alta Mira as a teenager. I envision my art helping others alchemize emotions, transform experiences to release the healing power of emotional energy held in the body.

I am passionate about helping others channel emotional energy to heal because I experienced multiple traumas as a young woman. I know how deeply emotions are held -- where no words can express the darkness. Cracking open the light happens spontaneously when wavelengths come into harmony -- like a puppy aligning its heartbeat with mother. Sanctuary opens the healing heart.

I've had the privilege of creating site specific works in collaboration with Camp LeJeune Mental Health Center, Boston Children's Hospital, U Mass Memorial Hospital, Riverside Hospital, and am always excited for the opportunity to work with designers and consultants.
