Visions of Peace 1983 ~ 2005

Searching for new reality, I began painting enplein air in '83 as I found safe places to paint in private landscapes. Earth tone paper and palette provided me comforting connection to the earth. Working primarily in pastel, allowed me to hold pure earth pigments in my hand and utilize friction of sanded pastel paper to spark my connection with the creatrix.
