Reaching for new direction in her art, Dorothy painted en plein air landscapes in Brittany, Normandy, the Emerald Coast, Giverny, and Paris.
"We crossed into Dinan on the Port bridge. Built in the tenth century, one lane two ways, we waited our turn to cross over. Immediately on the other side, we looked up a steep and narrow, cobbled stone street lined with half timber houses and shops. The opportunity to live and create in such an inspiring place as this ~ coming to an empty studio to create brand new work ~ a rare and special month in the incubator would fuse many things."
