THE RAINBOW BRIDGE

I drove THROUGH a rainbow! As I crossed above the James River gripping the steering wheel of my old minivan, mist and sunrise enveloped me with sparkling droplets refracting tiny rainbows each within itself.

Transformed, I landed in France a few months later to discover my chakra color palette, which began aligning my energies with the Light.  Willow charcoal I picked up in France, drawn through wet oil paint speaks silent volumes of my yearning heart *Among Green Meadows 1-6, and *Deep in the Meadow 1-3. Expressionistic brushstrokes flow prolifically through my own kind of automatic writing in the blue series I call Immersion.

*New Pathways 1-6, and *New Turf 1-2 emerge as soft gritty charcoal cut deep THROUGH previously impenetrable rock. *Efflorescence 1-14 and *Blink 1-3 bubble up from within, swirling together fiber art, collage, color weaving, and paint with new questions about the rainbow bridge.
