Set up as an interior design exhibition, the works presented at Flourish Space focus on decorative elements, as an inherent part of artist Dorothy Fagan’s practice. The bright colors in the tones of blues, pinks, purples and greens provide the visitor, the shop goer or the viewer with an anchor for the eye; an indubitable attraction to the movement of each brushstroke, the luminosity of the glaze and the anchors of the deep lines.
The seven paintings and fiber art on display feature a playful panel of sizes, sitting perfectly in conjunction with the store environment. The works not only complement the interior, it provides a new facet for the habitat.
